Today's carnival is celebrating an unbroken run of 39 years and this year’s West End themed procession is being tipped by organisers to be one of the best yet.
There will be more than 20 charities and groups with town centre stalls, from Grey Hound Rescue and the RSPB, to the Phoenix Children’s Foundation and the National Trust.
But, as ever, the most enduring memories are likely to be those provided by the procession.
A glimpse of the West End hit musicals, from the Lion King to Grease, will add showbiz sparkle to the floats.
Aside from the procession there will be fun fair attractions in Bye Street and St Katherine’s car park, while Ledbury Horticultural Society is holding its annual show in the community hall, Lawnside Road.
A park and ride scheme will be in operation at Ledbury Rugby Club. St Katherine’s, Bye Street and Lawnside Road car parks will be closed today but Bridge Street car park will remain open.
