Kington Walks back bigger than ever
10:51am Tuesday 27th August 2013 in News
Fresh off the success of Kington’s first-ever walking festival in 2012, this year’s programme aims to introduce more enthusiasts to the area’s countryside.
With 32 walks ranging from gentle to demanding, Kington Walks is returning next month, running from September 19-22.
A new addition to the trails – the Byron in Herefordshire Bicentenary – is one for walkers who like their books as much as their boots, while other highlights include The Ghost of the Park and Garden walk and the Lost Landscapes and Mysterious Monuments trail.
As well as the walking, the festival programme will include music from John Jones and Friends and a photography demonstration from John Rux-Burton.
