Rock and royal fans have something to bid for at auction today

ROCK fans will have something to make a noise about at an auction held in Leominster today.
Cars that belonged to collector and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and the Princess Royal’s ex-husband Captain Mark Phillips will be going under the hammer at Brightwell’s in Leominster.
They are two of the highlights in a list of more than 150 classic cars and motorcycles ranging from a 1960 Mini 850 estimated at £1,000 to a fully raceprepared classic 1928 Alvis 12/75 FWD – estimated to fetch more than £65,000.
A Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG Saloon owned by Olympic gold medallist Capt Phillips is among the German cars and a 2009 Audi RS6 5.0 V10 Twin Turbo Estate owned from new by Dark Side of the Moon drummer Nick Mason is also up for grabs at £30,000.
The winning bidder will also receive signed copies of two Nick Mason books and a signed print of his 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO which he has owned since 1977.
The sale begins at noon.
