THE fairytale setting of Eastnor Castle will soon feature as the backdrop to a new fashion collection.
Home to the HerveyBathurst family, the grade I listed building near Ledbury was selected by Miss Selfridge for an eye-catching photoshoot.
Creative and styling teams from the fashion retailer, which is part of the Arcadia Group, took to the stately home with creative director Yasmin Yusuf as photographer Jackie Dixon captured images inside and out.
A spokesman for Miss Selfridge said the venue was chosen for its beautiful decor, interior and surroundings.
She said: “The shots have come out extremely well, the location was perfect to showcase the Christmas collection we have coming up for Miss Selfridge.”
The images will be used throughout October and into December in stores, online and in marketing campaigns to promote the Christmas collection.
James Hervey-Bathurst said the shoot was an enjoyable experience, with an entire reception room being filled with rack upon rack of clothes.
“I think it went really well.
My daughters will enjoy looking at the catalogue trying to work out where the pictures were taken.”
Mr Hervey-Bathurst said the castle has hosted a number of fashion shoots in the past, including the first with Kutchinsky jewellery and the famous Norman Parkinson.
