Look what I've caught in my net

LET’S EXAMINE THE CATCH: William Lambourne loves every moment of pond dipping with this super-sized net.
THERE was plenty of fun to be had during a pond-dipping session near Ledbury.
Held at the Cider Mill as part of Herefordshire hEnergy week, Nigel Hand, officer for the Ponds and Newts Project at Herefordshire Nature Trust, was available to help visitors identify numerous samples of pond life and amphibians. And the event was not without its dramas, either. For during the day Mr Hand saved a southern hawker dragonfly from drowning in the pond.
The insect was taken to a bush to dry off, and after warming, flew off safely.
