The Flavours of Herefordshire Festival kicks off on Saturday with celebrity demonstrations, tastings and workshops.
Spread across the city centre, there will be plenty going on with many of the county’s top food producers exhibiting their goods.
Activities are also being organised for children and include a performance from Sea Legs Puppet Theatre, face painting and biscuit decorating, while there’s music from acoustic performer Jennifer Booton for adults.
Paul Hollywood, of BAFTA-winning the Great British Bake Off, will be demonstrating his skills on Saturday along with food writer Blanche Vaughan.
Sunday will also see demonstrations from the Fabulous Baker Brothers and a free performance from CBeebies’ Mr Bloom.
Hereford retailers will be getting involved in the weekend by competing in the best-dressed window competition.
Visitors will also have the chance to win themselves a weekend theatre trip to London, family break in Chester and many other treats by entering a draw – in conjunction with Hereford Food Bank The festival runs from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday and from 10.30am to 4pm to Sunday.
Festival programmes and draw tickets will be on sale around the site during the festival.
