THOUSANDS are expected to fill Hereford’s streets this weekend, attracted by the smells of some top cooking.
The Flavours of Herefordshire Festival kicks off on Saturday with celebrity demonstrations, tastings and workshops.
Spread across the city centre, there will be plenty going on with many of the county’s top food producers exhibiting their goods.
Activities are also being organised for children and include a performance from Sea Legs Puppet Theatre, face painting and biscuit decorating, while there’s music from acoustic performer Jennifer Booton for adults. Paul Hollywood, of BAFTA-winning the Great British Bake Off, will be demonstrating his skills on Saturday along with food writer Blanche Vaughan.
Sunday will also see demonstrations from the Fabulous Baker Brothers and a free performance from CBeebies’ Mr Bloom.
