A YOUNG man was hospitalised after three attackers pulled him from his bike and struck him with a crowbar.

The 21-year-old was cycling in Cherwell Close, off Tolladine Road, Worcester, from the direction of Maple Avenue when he was assaulted at about 8.30pm on Friday, November 29.

He saw three men who shouted at him and one of the men stepped into his path and pulled him from his bike while another hit him with a crowbar.

The first offender is described as a white man, six foot tall, stocky build, aged in his late 20s, with blonde shaved hair. He was dressed all in black.

The second attacker is described as a black man of stocky build. He was aged between 20 and 35, with a moustache, long straight black hair and was wearing a black beanie hat - he was the man carrying the crow bar.

The third is described as a white man wearing all black clothing.

Two of the offenders are believed to have got out of a green Mercedes C10 which was parked in Cherwell Close.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to his legs and body.
