A HOUSING association based in Newent has been recognised as an “all-round quality performer” with a top award.

Two Rivers Housing is celebrating receiving the ‘Performance Award’ from Quality Housing Services (QHS).

The accolade is the organisation’s highest possible recognition and is reserved only for associations who can show they have “gone the extra mile”.

In the latest assessment, Two Rivers Housing (TRH) was one of just two associations to receive full marks in all 10 categories it was measured against, including value-for-money, tenancy management and handling com- plaints.

Jon Cole, director of customer services at the housing association, said: “The quality of service provided to our customers is clearly of great importance and we use many different ways to monitor how well we are doing.

“It is reassuring to have positive feedback from an independent external assessor and I’m obviously delighted to see that we have out-performed so many other housing associations.”

TRH is an independent notfor- profit community organisation providing quality affordable homes in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

Andrew Greenhill, chief executive of Quality Housing Services, said: “I was delighted to be able to present the full award to Two Rivers.

“It is a reflection of their commitment to customers and a consistent ability to get things right when delivering services.”
