A GROUP of colleagues from a Hereford company have taken a break from engineering to climb high to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge.
The team from Rotherwas-based KGD Industrial Services – comprised of Andrew Price-Greenow, Adam Dance, Andy Price, Ben Chandler and Matthew Hyatt – took on the challenge of climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.
They raised more than £3,600 for Midlands Air Ambulance – chosen because of the valuable work carried out in rural areas around the county.
"We would like to extend a big thank you to KGD, its suppliers, employees, friends and family that have provided support or sponsorship to help with the fundraising total of over £3,600 which was handed over to the Air Ambulance team at their Strensham services base," said Andrew Price-Greenow.
The three peaks are Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa in Wales.
