A BIG summer attraction which fell foul of the weather could return to Much Marcle skies in 2014, one year after the plug was pulled.
Successive cancellations, due to heavy rainfall over the Rye Meadows site, meant there was no Much Marcle Aero Club in 2013, as organisers decided to play safe rather than risk another eleventh hour cancellation.
The Hereford Model Aero Club had suffered four cancellation's in six years, with losses running as high as £7,000 a time.
Now another club, the Large Model Association, is looking to step into the breach and bring the model air show back, for the weekend of September 6 and September 7.
Bernard Morris, of the Hereford Model Aero Club, said that such an arrangement would be "with the total agreement of the club".
The model air show, in the past, has attracted crowds of over 5,000 people.
