A LOCAL art gallery will become a centre of learning, from next month.
The Shell House Gallery in the Homend is well-known for its exhibits of contemporary art, and now it is to inspire the public further, by offering weekly workshops.
Gallery owner, David Savager said the teach-ins would be led by people exhibiting at the venue, and he hoped the sessions would be on offer every week.
Details are still to be finalised, but the launch date is likely to be Saturday, February 1, with a lesson on how to make interesting "photograms", using sunlight.
