LEDBURY Poetry Festival poetry competition is now open, with a first prize of £1000 and a residential course at T? Newydd, The National Writers’ Centre for Wales, as well as the chance to reading their poem at the 2015 event.
The festival is delighted to announce that Ian McMillan, well-known to Radio 3 audiences as presenter of The Verb, has agreed to judge the competition. He is also poet-in-residence for English National Opera, The Academy of Urbanism and Barnsley FC, and will be appearing at this year's festival, (July 4-13)
