THREE Hereford men accused of murder have been further remanded in custody to await trial next month.
Stacy Hales, aged 36, of Belmont Road, Hereford, Stephen Munn, aged 21, of Golden Post, Hunderton, Hereford, and Mark Edwards, who is 23 and of no fixed address, have all been charged with the murder of Steven Paynter.
Mr Paynter, who was 46, was found dead in Ryelands Street, Whitecross, Hereford, on August 3, 2013.
The three have been held in custody since the date of the alleged offence and the time limits were extended to cover the trial, which is on course to start at Worcester Crown Court next month.
No objections were raised by defence counsel to the extensions.
Kim Horry, aged 20, of Ryelands Street, Whitecross, Hereford, who has been charged with assisting an offender, appeared with them for a pre-trial hearing at the court on Monday. She was granted bail.
