ELIZABETH Hurley – who owns a house near Ledbury - has taken to Twitter to brand reports of an affair with former US president Bill Clinton as “ludicrously silly”.
The actress bought 13-bedroom Donnington Hall in 2012.
Responding to the claims by Tom Sizemore, which made waves on both sides of the Atlantic, the Austin Powers star appears to have had the last laugh with the American actor since backtracking on his claims on live TV.
She went on to thank her 450,000 followers on Twitter for their support on what she called “a pretty gruesome day”.
She tweeted: “Ludicrously silly stories about me & Bill Clinton. Totally untrue. In the hands of my lawyers. Yawn.”
Tranquillity has not always been easy to come by for the actress since moving to the Herefordshire countryside, however the primary offenders to this point have been a herd of rather noisy sheep.
In August, the Hereford Times reported that her “monstrous” new ovine neighbours were giving the Estee Lauder model problems getting to sleep.
