PLANS to build a superstore at Lawnside Road appear to have reached a sticking point, at least for the present, with uncertainty surrounding the outcome of crucial talks and approaches.
Mr Philip King of Pershore-based PLK Properties said this week that he had no news on likely consolation dates for a formal plan, because he was still awaiting "third party decisions".
These involve not only Halo Leisure, which operates the swimming pool at Lawnside, on behalf of Herefordshire Council, but certain businesses in the Lawnside area, which have also been contacted by the property developer.
Mr King said: "Critical decisions need to be in place."
He said those decisions involved site occupiers, and their decisions would differ in nature,;but he declined to be drawn further on this.
However, Mr King added: "Things are not moving as quickly as we anticipated. It is not in accordance with our earlier, anticipated time-scale."
