A LEOMINSTER bar is set to host the first service of an online church in April.
Designed to be a "base" between Christians who have felt marginalised and those with more Pagan beliefs, Leominster Reverend Mark Townsend's Hedge-Church has had a popular online following for some years now.
But it is soon set to take a more physical presence with its first meeting taking place at Shooters Bar.
"There will be a communion featuring a breaking bread element but it won’t have any rules and anybody can come and join in," Mark said.
"It’s not about converting people and it’s not about money. There will be a collection but only if people want to donate and funds will go to St Michael’s Hospice."
The meeting will take place on Sunday April 6 at 10am.
