ALTHOUGH the recent flooding caused misery for many, the wet setting was inspiring for one county photographer.

Daniel Swain, 21, went onto Hereford's Bishop's Meadows with one model unafraid of getting her feet wet for an unconventional fashion shoot.

Daniel, a Hereford College of Arts graduate, said he wanted to create "something beautiful out of the devastation".

He said: "Hereford lacks good locations to do photo shoots, so I am always on the lookout for a good location. It wasn't until I walked my dog through a flooded field that the idea hit me to use something that obviously is devastating to my advantage and try to create something beautiful.

"To be a high fashion editorial photographer you need to take risks even though sometimes the result isn't what you expected. "Throughout planning and shooting this specific shoot, I didn't know if it was going to work and look good, but I was pleased with the final outcome."
