A pop-up shop will give art students a chance to sell and promote their work in Hereford for five days later this month.
Si Clarke, one of the Hereford College of Art students involved in opening The Matchbox on Hereford’s Bridge Street, said the project will give the group a unique opportunity to run their own studio and engage with customers.
Si, a second-year Graphic and Media Design degree student, said: “We are all very enthusiastic about The Matchbox – it is a fantastic opportunity.
“The amount of support we have received from sharing on social media has been phenomenal, as well as support from a lot of local businesses.”
The exhibition space Art 360 will host The Matchbox from Tuesday March 25 to Saturday March 29, opening between 10am and 6pm.
