Ledbury Rotarians were out in force in town last weekend, dispelling myths and misunderstandings about their organisation.
Rotary is sometimes viewed as being secretive, but its heart is charity and "service above self" and one of the international projects is the eradication of polio.
Ledbury Rotary President Steve Wheeler said: “The spectre of Polio as a threat to health globally is still a reality and we have a worldwide campaign to rid the planet of this disease which can cripple, maim, and kill."
Seen here, Mr Wheeler stands by the Market House, to explain the aims and ethos of Rotary to passers by.
