THE village of Pendock will come alive with runners this weekend for the second Pendock Spring Chicken Run.
The multi-terrain run offers a choice of a 10km race, or the 5km and 1km fun runs on Sunday, March 23.
All proceeds will go towards Pendock CE Primary School, which is also where the races start and finish.
Although the 1km and 10km runs are full, there are still some places left for the 5km route.
Runners will meet at the school and the 1km fun run will set off at 11am while the 10km race starts at 11.30am and the 5km at 11.35am.
Locally produced food will be on sale and runners will automatically be entered into a free raffle.
The event started last year and the money raised went towards a project to fit solar panels onto the roof of the school.
