THIS EASTER Hay Castle is hosting a new Spring Fair to inspire people to help the environment.
The April 12 festival will feature fun, interactive takes on green issues; with expert speakers on community energy and transport and hands-on activities like willow-weaving and knitting.
Event organiser Louise Davies also runs a fair trade shop in Hay called Eighteen Rabbit.
She said: “ We have always had an interest in sustainability, particularly how to make green issues appealing to a wide audience.
“We hope that people in Hay will be inspired to make small lifestyle changes to minimise their impact on the environment.”
Running from 10am-5pm, the castle will also host kids activities throughout the day, live music, food, drink and stalls from local businesses.
