AN award-winning country lodge near Ludlow is to open its doors to raise funds for a Herefordshire school.

Old Downton Lodge is raising funds for Wigmore Primary School by holding nature walks and serving cream teas in its courtyard garden.

It will be the first time that customers will be given a glimpse of what lies behind the building's stone walls.

There will also be three mapped walking routes of varying levels of difficulty during the open day which will take place on Sunday April 13 between 12pm and 5pm.

Funds raised will go towards a circus skills workshop for the students.

For more information call Pippa Vlok or David Thomas on 01568 771826 or 07791178945 between 9am and 5pm.
