A HOST of new residents are moving in to Ledbury - but you might have a hard time spotting them.

As of tomorrow (Saturday), people can search the town for fairy doors that will be placed around the town and its shops.

A number of shops are selling stamp cards that people can mark off when they come across a door, and everyone who completes the cards will be entered in to a prize raffle.

Ledbury resident Cath Gardner came up with the idea for the trail after seeing something similar in America.

She said: "The idea came to me last autumn when I stumbled upon a web post on 'urban fairy doors' in the city of Ann Arbor, Michigan. The doors had 'appeared' in shops, cafes, the library, primary schools and even a local hospital and over time became a trail, enthralling kids and adults alike. I wondered whether this would work in Ledbury as it is quaint and historic.

"I have found that trails are a great way to occupy children as well as keeping parents happy whilst encouraging people to thoroughly explore the town and its shops and cafes."
