Herefordshire residents dig deep to raise more than £200,000 for poppy appeal

Ledbury Reporter: More than £20,000 has been raised for the appeal in Herefordshire. More than £20,000 has been raised for the appeal in Herefordshire.

GENEROUS county residents have donated more than £200,000 to the Royal British Legion's poppy appeal since it was launched last October.

The figure makes up part of the total £3.1million raised by those living in the West Midlands area and will help the Legion continue to provide direct welfare support and advice to the armed forces community.
