LEDBURY played host to a special group of visitors earlier this month.

Six visitors from Strömstad in Sweden - the town that Ledbury is twinned with - spent two days in the historic town.

In two days they managed to visit the Market House, the Painted Room, the Master’s House, Woodside Lodges, Westons Cider, Hellens Manor, Eastnor Castle, the Talbot Hotel, The Feathers Hotel, as well as many shops and pubs in the town centre.

Andy Ward, the landlord of the Talbot, said: "The visit was fantastic. Strömstad has become part of Ledbury’s extended family - they are like our favourite cousins.

"It was a very relaxed visit with great people and amazing music and humour. We look forward to the next visit."

The towns have been twinned since 2000 and since then school children and the Ledbury Swifts have visited Sweden.
