LEDBURY Town Council has considered, but has ruled out, renting out the cemetery cottage to a local undertaker.
Coun Martin Eager, chairman of the town's environment and leisure committee, said: "We investigated refurbishing and renting out the old cottage next to the chapel, but after taking into account the poor internal state of the building, and the possibility that we as a council may require the building in the future, it was decided not to proceed with any transfer and, for the time being, we are still undecided to its potential use."
