A FAST-paced fashion show raised more than £2,000 in the memory of a popular woman who lost her battle against cancer.
Models walked the catwalk at Ledbury Primary School in a glamorous celebration of the life of Karen Preedy, who died last year at the age of 37, on Wednesday, April 30 to raise £2,435.90.
The funds from the show, which was organised by Elizabeth Carrington-Stait of Isaacs Shoes, the Homend, will be split between St Michael's Hospice and Ledbury Primary PTA with the hospice receiving £1,232.95 and the PTA £1,202.95.
Tony Isaacs of Isaacs Shoes said: "It was a brilliant night and everybody enjoyed themselves. We have been inundated with customers coming into the shop and saying they enjoyed themselves.
"We are thoroughly pleased with the great response."
Mrs Preedy was greatly helped by St Michael's Hospice in Bartestree and her two children attended Ledbury Primary School.
The shop provided the models, music and entertainment during the show which also included men's fashion from the Renaissance store and lingerie and swimwear from Charisma.
Ticketholders all received a free Seasalt jute bag filled with free gifts from local businesses and a prize draw and raffle were also held.
