WEST Mercia Police is hosting a series of training events in support of Mental Health Awareness Week (May 12 to 18).

Around 80 people are expected to attend the Hereford event on Tuesday (May 20) at the Three Counties Hotel, which features speakers and experts, group learning workshops and question and answer sessions with a professional panel.

The events will raise awareness of issues agencies face in relation to mental health and also give agencies the chance to share knowledge about how to deal with the many different scenarios mental health problems can present.
