THOUSANDS of Herefordshire residents will be asked to rate their satisfaction – or otherwise – with the county’s traffic and transport.
The nationwide survey will then compare the results with 78 other areas to help better understand traffic, and help local authorities make improvements.
3300 Herefordians will be sent a questionnaire this month – which they can complete online – and the results will be published in October.
Clive Hall, head of highways at Herefordshire Council, said: “This is not about producing a league table to champion one geographical area over another.
“It enables the regions involved to identify areas of best practice and spot national, regional and local trends.”
