VISITORS to the National Trust's Brockhampton Estate near Bromyard will soon have the chance to explore previously unseen rooms at the medieval manor house.
Previously, only four rooms have been open to visitors, but an additional six rooms will be on show from Saturday, July 19 as part of the Brockhampton Revealed project.
Project curator, Robin Hill, said: “Colonel Lutley left the estate to the National Trust in 1946 and following the early restoration work carried out by the trust in the 1950s, part of the house was opened. Now the public will see previously unseen parts of a much-loved building for the very first time.
“Peeling back the layers of history has been a very exciting process and we are delighted with our new findings."
Brockhampton Revealed runs from 11am to 4.30pm from July 19 onwards. Normal admission charges apply.
