Onion Diary Date
THE DATE of the next Newent Onion Fayre has been announced.
It will take place on Saturday, September 13, from 10am.
The quirky but popular event usually attracts over 10,000 people to the town centre.
Attractions this year will include the usual onion eating competition, one hundred stands, live music, fairground rides and street entertainment.
