THE Ledbury Food Group is toasting a strong and successful showing at last Sunday's Ledbury Celebration event, which closed the poetry festival.
There were over 30 food and drink stalls on Bye Street car park, as the music played and the poetry flowed.
The weather was kind for the special event organised jointly by Ledbury Food Group and Ledbury Poetry Festival, on the closing day of the festival.
Hundreds of people enjoyed strolling around the stalls which featured a wide variety of local produce, from artisan bread, fruit and flower jellies, spicy pickles and jams to homemade cakes and biscuits and locally-produced pork.
Melissa Hawker, the organiser for Ledbury Food Group, said, “This magic blend of local food and drink, poetry, and music reminds us of Ledbury’s special strengths.”
