A MAN was taken to hospital after the lorry he was driving was in collision with a lamp post on Aylestone Hill this morning.
Emergency services were called at around 5.15am to reports that a 7.5 tonne lorry had collided with a lamp post while being driven towards the A4103.
The 43-year-old from Gloucester was treated for a foot injury by an ambulance and paramedic officer and was transferred to Hereford Hospital.
No other vehicles were involved.
