TV’s favourite Aussie chef John Torode will be cooking up a storm at Hereford’s Old Market as part of a weekend of Bank Holiday activities.

The Mastercchef judge will be on hand to entertain shoppers with cooking demonstration on August 22, kicking off the shopping centre’s ‘Share The Love’ festivities.

Food aficionados will be able to turn the tables on the TV judge, putting his own skills under scrutiny as he whips up a variety of recipes including Toscana steak and chicken fried lobster.

Running through the weekend, foodies will give way to fashionistas on the Saturday, with dancers performing throughout the centre wearing the latest trends and a ‘style spotter’ will be on site to pick out the most fashionable visitors.

‘Love Sunday’ will feature a line-up of local music acts to sooth you through your Sunday.

From Puma Creek’s classic soul and blues to piano and voice duo Jayne Sarah and Dan Phelps, a variety of acts will play through the day, before on Monday family fun takes over with balloon artist, face painters and the world’s first shopping trolley display team ‘Granny Turismo’.

A Cow Decoration Station will also be on site for children to colour in a life-size Hereford cow and throughout the weekend children will also be able to follow the Hairy Fred Trail, a fun adventure involving shop windows searches across Old Market for eight hidden Hairy Fred cows.

Those who spot all the Freds will be in with a chance of winning a £100 Go Ape voucher.
