THE bible of the pub-goer, The Good Pub Guide, has named The Stagg at Titley as the best dining pub in Herefordshire as part of its annual awards.

The 2014 National Dining Pub of the Year's licencees, Steve and Nicola Reynolds, weren’t able to claim back-to-back titles for the Kington pub, but for the ninth year running their pub has been singled out as the best pub to eat in in the county.

In 2001, The Stagg was the first pub in the UK to be awarded a Michelin Star and to this day prides itself on offering the best in local ingredients from fillets of Herefordshire beef to cocktails using spirit's from the nearby Chase distillery.

The pub will feature in the 2015 edition of The Good Pub Guide, but to check it out in person you can make a reservation by calling 01544 230 221 or emailing reservations@thestagg.co.uk.
