THE SCOTS made "the right choice" on Scottish Independence, according to Ledbury's MP, Bill Wiggin.
But now he believes the focus should turn to "fairer powers" for England and the UK's place, or otherwise, in the EU.
Mr Wiggin said: "I am delighted Scotland has voted no to Independence, - this was an historic moment in our history, but thankfully they made the right choice."
He added: "I think we need fairer powers for England and I was very pleased to note that the Prime Minister appears to have taken that on board."
The current political hot potato in Westminster is whether Scottish MPs should, in future, be able to vote on purely English matters, in the Commons.
Concerning the EU, Mr Wiggin added: "I now look forward to the whole of the UK, not just one part, being given a choice on Europe in an In/Out referendum, after the next election."
