THE evening closures of Top Cross in Ledbury this week, for surfacing and cabling work, should have little impact on the response of the emergency services.
This is despite the fact that ambulance crews serving the Ledbury area are based at the police station, off the Worcester Road.
West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman, Chris Kowalik said a strategy had been put in place.
He said: "The workmen will let us through Top Cross, and they will also let other blue light emergency vehicles through."
