AN MP who has campaigned for a better deal for smaller pubs made the trip to Hereford to spread his message this week.
Last year, supported by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale), Martin Horwood, MP for Cheltenham, promoted a bill in parliament to ease the burden on small pubs from the large pub companies, resulting in a new code of conduct.
And while in Hereford this week, Mr Horwood visited the Spread Eagle in King Street with Lucy Hurds, Liberal Democrat candidate for Hereford and South Herefordshire, to discuss issues threatening British pubs.
