A CHANCE to celebrate the best of local apples is on offer in Leominster.
The Apple Dish Trail is back from October 18 until October 25, and will see Leominster's cafes, bistros, coffee houses, pubs and inns cooking up a range of apple-inspired dishes.
Trail organiser, Jenny Bartlett, said: "The pubs and cafes have come up with another great range of lip-smacking dishes from apple tarts to pork and apple pies and everything in between.
"This is a real opportunity for us to show our support and enjoyment for all our favourite establishments."
Apple Dish Trail brochures are available from the Tourist Information Centre in Corn Square, participating venues and from the Apple Fair in the Priory on Saturday October 18.
Trail enthusiasts who return their ‘vote’ on the best apple dish they tried will be in the running to win a prize.
Voting slips can be found on the back of the Apple Dish Trail brochure and should be returned to the Tourist Information Council by Friday October 31.
