AN acclaimed historian will be in Ross talking about her new book which covers the Peasants Revolt of 1381.
Juliet Barker will be at Rossiter Books in the High Street at 7pm on October 30 talking about her new book, England, Arise.
She said: "I fell in love with this area [Herefordshire] when researching my biography of Wordsworth and can’t wait to go back.
"There were no revolting peasants here in 1381 but their story still has resonance today no matter where you are."
