IMAGES taken at a grape harvest last week might have come from the middle of France, but in fact the location was Coddington Vineyard, near Ledbury.
The harvest was all in by Friday, October 17, with the help of local residents who proved themselves to be dab hands with the secateurs.
Vineyard spokesperson, Sharon Maiden said: "A huge thanks must go to the village residents who came out in full force to help with the bumper crop.
"Three varieties of grapes are grown at the vineyard, which are Bacchus, Ortega and Pinto Gris, all of which yielded above average."
She added: "The harvest festival in the Coddington village church was well supported on Sunday. The church was beautifully decorated with flowers, apples from the orchards, honey from the hives, grapes and wine from the vineyard, hops and vegetables from around the village."
Last year's vintage is now available for tasting at Coddington Vineyard.
