POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a horror crash in the early hours of Sunday morning.

As reported in the Hereford Times this week, a 4x4 truck split in two following the crash on the A4111 from Hereford to Kington at around 4.20am.

Police said today it is believed the driver of the red Mitsubishi L200 lost control before hitting a tree and rebounding across the carriageway.

The driver and the front passenger both suffered serious injuries and were taken to Hereford County Hospital.

Both rear passengers suffered serious and life threatening injuries and were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
