POLICE believe a man who stole a car was given a lift by a member of the public after crashing into a kerb.

A white Ford Focus Estate was stolen between 10.30 and 11pm on November 11.

It was then found at about 11pm at the junction of the A480 and the turning for Weobley, in the middle of the road.
