A STEAM-HAULED charter train has passed through the county.
The Christmas Chesterman service called at Hereford station on Saturday, 22 November, as it made its way from Bristol to Cheshire.
The train was double-headed by Class 5 (Black Five) steam locomotives.
The service was operated by the Railway Touring Company.
Pathfinder Tours will run another charter service due to pass through Herefordshire this weekend.
The Marches Castle charter train will pass through Hereford on Saturday.
Estimated times see the steam-hauled train pass through Abergavenny at 10.44am, before arriving in Pontrilas 20 minutes later.
It is due to pass through Tram Inn at 11.14am, Hereford at 11.23am and Leominster at 11.41am.
It will stop to take on water at Ludlow from 11.54am, before continuing its journey at 12.05pm.
The estimated time of arrival at Shrewsbury Railway Station is 12.44pm before the train begins its return journey, which features a stop in Hereford to take on water at 5.19pm.
