A pedestrian is in hospital with serious injuries following the collision.
A PEDESTRIAN was seriously injured after being in collision with a car on Edgar Street yesterday.
The 42-year-old was walking across the road at around 2.30pm when he came into collision with a Volkswagen Touran.
He sustained serious internal injuries and was taken to Birmingham Queen Elizabeth hospital where he remains at this time.
Witnesses can call police on 101.
