IF you're one of our regular web readers you're part of a major online success story with over 1.3 million page views on our site each month and a monthly average of 238,000 unique browsers, which is 76% up on the same period in 2013.
And it just keeps on growing, with over over 20,000 combined likes and followers on Facebook and Twitter.
So what were the best read online stories of 2014, month by month?
1. January: We kicked the year off with a bit of fun - Twenty things that make you a Herefordian.
It's the by-no-means comprehensive list of what it might mean to be a Herefordian which netted over 23,000 reads and some excellent comments.
2. February: The big news this month was of course the floods - nearly 46,000 reads were logged for our Live blog: Herefordshire Floods
3. March: A police investigation in Hereford city centre attracted 10,508 reads(link nolonger available)
4. April: A serious crash logged 12,473 reads(link nolonger available).
Both these stories emphasised our improving performance in getting the breaking news to you quicker than ever before.
5. Our top story in May was another road collision - this time involving a young mother and her children - the initial piece had 20,506 reads, while the follow-up story netted 8,924.

In what was a busy month for news, Hereford's new £90million shopping centre opened.
We were on Old Market on the big day - gathering all your views - Old Market's big opening was read over 15,000 times.
6. June: Without doubt Hereford United was the big story for this month.
Having miraculously survived relegation on the pitch in injury time, during virtually the last kick of the season, there was agony for fans as the club was a battle to stay in the Conference as financial woes mounted:

Of course the story went from bad to worse with the club being wound-up at the end of the year after controversial new owners had tried and failed to make a go of it in the Southern League.
7. July: A terrible tragedy near Bridge Sollars in which two young friends died was read 23,000 times.
There was an outpouring of grief for young Kyle Thomson and Jack Prichard.
8. August: A shooting in Bosbury shocked the community and county:

9. In September, there were 67,405 reads of a crash on the A49 which caused the death of a motorcyclist, later named as local man Hugh McGuigan.
10. October saw what seemed like an inocuous local story turn viral.
This yarn about an alternative use for tax disc holders dreamed up by Malvern Police netted over 1.3million reads for our sister title the Bolton News, while it was our top read story of the year at 86,227 reads.

11. In November, a suspected ebola outbreak in Hereford netted nearly 66,000 reads.

12. The devastating loss of a popular young rugby player shocked Herefordshire - many took to social media to pay tribute, combined, our stories were read 57,000 times.
