THERE are currently four flood warnings issued by the Environment Agency for the River Wye in Herefordshire.

These include for the city of Hereford, north and south, as well as between Hereford and Ross, Hereford and Hay-on-Wye.

This means that flooding is expected and immediate action is required, according to the Environment agency.

The EA says at 12.30 pm today the level at the Old Wye Bridge Gauge was 3.87 metres and rising. A peak level of between 4.6 and 4.8 metres is expected to occur overnight.

There are also flood alerts for the River Lugg south of Leominster, River Arrow, and  River Frome

This means flooding s possible.

The A4110 is currently closed at Adforton due to flooding.
