KEEN young musicians will raise the roof of St Mary's Church in Dymock, on Saturday, February 7, from 7pm.
Twenty young singers and instrumentalists including children as young as eight, will present a varied programme in support of local musician Emma Dodd who is a student at Newent Community School.
She will be travelling to Kenya in the summer as part of the school’s exchange link with St George’s School.
The "Musical Soiree" will be an informal social evening and there will be a short presentation describing the work of the Newent School link as part of the programme.
Tickets are £5 Adults and £3 Children and are on sale at Dymock Shop (Tel 01531 890259) and at the door.
