POLICE are appealing for help following a possible sighting of a missing woman from Weobley.
Monica Armstrong, 63, has not been since Tuesday March 3 in Hereford. Her car, a black VW Polo, was found by police at Weir Gardens in Swainshill, on the same evening.
A witness has reported seeing a women aged between 50 and 60, approximately 5'7" in height, slim build with auburn hair.
The woman was also described as wearing a dark fleece-type hat with a beige rim at the bottom, loose fitting beige walking trousers and charcoal grey fabric walking boots.
She was also carrying a rucksack which is described as small dark blue and with red stripes.
The woman, who matches the description of Monica Armstrong, is believed to have been seen in High Street, Pershore at 4.15pm heading down the B4084 towards the village of Wick and the River Avon Bridge last Friday (March 6).
Anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or anyone who recalls seeing someone matching this description, should contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting 579s 030315.
